Harvest Festival

16 October 2017 (by j.rosano)

Takes place on Weds 18th October 2017

We will be having our ‘Harvest Festival’ celebration during assembly time on Wednesday 18th October 2017. This event is an important occasion for the whole school (including Nursery) and allows us as a community to think about and give assistance to others not as fortunate as ourselves.

Please could donations be brought to the hall on Wednesday morning before school (Nursery PM should bring donations to their usual afternoon session). All food donations will be forwarded to the Bingley Food Bank before the end of the week. Fresh produce must not be sent – tins and dried foods only please.

It has also become a tradition for families to attach a pound coin to a tin they donate, and we have decided that this year all money received will be sent to the British Red Cross who are working hard to alleviate the suffering in the Caribbean after last month’s devastating hurricanes. Thank you for your continued support and generosity.
