Parent Peer Support session - Self-Esteem

24 May 2018 (by j.rosano)

The Parent Peer Support sessions are back at Eldwick starting on Wednesday 6th June

The FREE Parent Peer Support sessions are back at Eldwick Primary on the next few Wednesday mornings, starting with Building Children's Self-Esteem on 6th June. The sessions start at 9.30am  in The Moors building (next to the tennis courts). Refreshments are served from 9am and the session ends at 11am. Younger children are welcome and there would be time to attend any stay and play sessions too.

Please contact school to reserve a place - unfortunately the session will be cancelled if there are insufficient numbers - the session is FREE to attend and Seba Thomson, a qualified psychotherapist, gives up her time to deliver these. Please don't miss out.

Please email j.rosano@eldwick.bradford.sch.uk or telephone 01274 568361 to reserve a place.

Additional Dates and sessions are:

  • Wednesday, 13th June - Topic: Coping with Children's Anger (another opportunity to attend as feedback was so positive after the last Anger session here)
  • Wednesday, 20th June - Topic: Social Stories a tool to that can be a written or visual guide describing various social interactions, situations, behaviours, skills or concepts. Often used with children who have particular needs.
  • Wednesday, 27th June - Topic: Helping children cope with Stress.

Contact school to reserve a place on any of these sessions. Please share this information with family and friends.

Thank you.
