The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework sets standards for children’s learning, development and welfare from birth to five years old.
The EYFS Statutory Framework is in place to make ensure young children develop and learn safely.
There are seven areas of learning in EYFS; three prime areas and four specific areas of learning and development.
