Appointments during the school day

School is aware that children may need to go to appointments during the school day and we are happy to accommodate this.
Children who feel unwell in the morning but who improve during the day are also able to come into school (unless they have had sickness and diarrhoea).
However, in the interests of your child, we do insist that parents do NOT take and return children during the lunchtime period. Children must be signed in and out and are in different locations around school at this time. As the office has reduced staffing over lunchtime it is difficult to locate and return children to/from the playground. With over 500 children to go through the hall for lunch there is a running order for the classes and children could easily miss their designated 'slot' which would be both time-consuming for the lunchtime staff and may mean that you child would not be in the dining hall with anyone form their year group.
Lunch times
Reception - 11:30am - 12:30pm
Year 1 & 2 - 12:00noon - 1:00pm
Year 3 & 4 - 12:15pm - 1:15pm
Year 5 & 6 - 12:20pm - 1:20pm
